SNOW IN CHALABRE

(January 2009)

We haven't seen that much snow since our arrival in Chalabre in the winter of 2005. Even though the snow (and the especially the ice patches!!!) can prove a little inconvenient at times, it is so pretty! Chalabre and the region look beautiful under that pristine white blanket...

Our neighbor from across the street, Didier & Mireille Antonio's butcher shop, is already dressed up in winter style...

Our lovely Cours Colbert seen from Randy's 1st floor office windows...

Walking towards the River Hers, behind us, Chalabre nestles comfortably under its snow blanket...

The River Hers, the boulodrome and the Old Railway Bridge...

Shmoo and his assistant prepare to brave the Old Railway path!

The " Dalton Bros." hunting team keep watch despite the weather!
