AXAT
THE GORGES OF SAINT GEORGES
(March 2005)

Returning from Molitg-les-Bains through the Col du Jau, crossing the mountains separating the Pyrénées-Orientales from the Aude, on the road from Prades to Quillan, we drove through the Gorges of Saint Georges, a narrow road stuck between two huge rocky walls and the river Aude, leading to the village of Axat.
